Cache is independent of the array. What you needed to do is install the new cache drive, copy the data from the old cache to the new cache, then remove the old cache drive. Another way to go about that is to change the cache settings on your shares. Right now you have 'Yes', 'Prefer' or both.

For that reason, many people prefer not to remove a disk if they can help it. After all, eventually you'll need more space. But it is pretty easy to do. You just tell unRAID to foget about your current array (New Config) and then redefine the array without the disk you wanted to remove.
